Leelai Demoz is the COO and Founding Partner of Highwire Media, a production company producing film, TV, and Broadway theater. Prior to that, he served as Associate Artistic Director of Steppenwolf Theatre. 

He produced the award-winning film Difret (2014 Sundance World Cinema and 2014 Berlin Panorama Audience Awards). He was also nominated for both an Academy Award and an Emmy Award for the documentary film On Tip Toe, a profile of the singing group Ladysmith Black Mambazo. He has founded three production entities producing a variety of programs, including feature films, documentaries, TV series, and over 300 commercials.

 He is a board member of The Schoolhouse Foundation and Action Civics California (Mikva Challenge). His diversified portfolio of experiences has made him a thought leader that speaks about Film, TV, Theater.
